Part B — QuickShip Terms & Conditions of Carriage

These Terms apply to all shipments tendered to QuickShip or its affiliates, agents, and contracted carriers (“QuickShip”). By handing over a shipment or creating an air waybill (“AWB”/“HAWB”), the shipper agrees to these Terms.

Part A — Website Terms of Use
1. Definitions
  • Shipper: The person or entity tendering the shipment to QuickShip.
  • Consignee: The intended recipient.
  • AWB / HAWB: (House) Air Waybill, the shipping contract and receipt.
  • DDP: Delivered Duty Paid (Incoterms® 2020).
  • Dimensional Weight: Calculated as (L × W × H in cm) ÷ 5000 (÷ 4000 for shipments to Australia), expressed in kg; charges apply on the greater of actual or dimensional weight.
2. Scope of Service
  • QuickShip provides international and domestic carriage using its own network and/or third-party carriers. Transit times are estimates.
  • Unless expressly stated, no money‑back guarantee applies, and freight charges are non‑refundable in the event of delay, shortage, or partial loss, except where prohibited by law.
  • Unless otherwise stated on the quotation or AWB, shipments are moved on a DDP basis with duties/taxes advanced by QuickShip and re‑billed to the shipper.
  • Origin facility for India exports: Ex‑Mahipalpur (Delhi) warehouse (where applicable).
  • Multiple pieces per AWB: Multi‑piece shipments are accepted on a single AWB.
3. Pricing, surcharges & calculation rules
  • Dimensional weight (per piece): L × W × H (in cm) ÷ 5000 = dimensional kg (÷ 4000 for Australia).
  • Per‑piece chargeable weight rule: For each piece, the chargeable weight equals the higher of actual or dimensional weight. The shipment’s billed weight is the sum of all per‑piece chargeable weights.
  • Per‑piece cap: 29 kg maximum (applies to the higher of actual or dimensional weight for each piece).
  • Optional Service – Consignee signature on delivery: INR 1000 per shipment (wherever available).
  • Electronic items (without batteries or magnets): accepted with an additional handling fee of INR 1000 per HAWB.
  • Artificial gemstones & jewellery: accepted in small quantities with prior approval; INR 1000 per shipment applies.
  • CSB‑V filing (India export): INR 500 per shipping bill, unless otherwise agreed when filed by QuickShip.
  • Amazon FBA shipments: accepted on DDP basis only; duties/taxes and related fees will be billed to the shipper.
4. Data & documentation
  • Consignee email address and phone number are mandatory.
  • The shipper must provide accurate descriptions, HS codes, values, and all documents required by customs or other authorities.
5. Prohibited & restricted items
  • QuickShip does not accept items prohibited by origin, transit, or destination law or by carrier safety rules unless explicitly pre‑approved in writing and compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Electronic items with batteries or magnets are not accepted.
  • Medicines and other restricted items require prior written approval; if such items are found without approval, an administrative penalty of INR 5,000 per shipment may apply, in addition to return, storage, disposal, or government fees as applicable.
6. Liability & claims
  • No refunds or credits will be issued on freight charges for short delivery, partial loss, or late delivery.
  • All network: QuickShip’s liability for physical loss is limited to $ 100 (Currency of Destination Country) or the declared value at booking, whichever is lower.
  • Consequential, special, indirect, or loss‑of‑market damages are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • Claims must be submitted in writing within 90 days of the shipment being declared lost by QuickShip, with supporting evidence, and no later than the period permitted by applicable law or carrier rules.
7. Address correction policy & fees

Address‑correction charges are $ 30 (Currency of Destination Country) and are billed to the shipper. These may be applied automatically by the destination operations team under any of the following circumstances:

  • Delivery attempt fails due to address problems or an incorrect/incomplete address.
  • Spelling mistakes or missing words in the address require correction.
  • Incorrect or non‑responsive consignee contact details prevent coordination.
  • The shipper or consignee instructs a delivery address change after booking.
  • The AWB address is wrong/incomplete; charges may apply even if the shipment is collected (self‑pick‑up).
8. Compliance, customs & DDP billing
  • DDP eligibility is only up to de‑minimis: DDP service applies up to the destination country’s de‑minimis (low‑value) limits. If a shipment declared value exceeds the applicable de‑minimis threshold or is otherwise ineligible for low‑value clearance, a formal customs entry may be required; any brokerage/clearance fees, duties and taxes assessed by customs, and related charges will be billed to the shipper.
  • If Destination Customs rejects a shipment for low‑value clearance, QuickShip will file a formal entry and charge approximately $50 (Currency of Destination Country) to the shipper, plus any duties and taxes assessed by customs. Common rejection reasons include prohibited items, commercial goods/quantities, high‑value items, cosmetics, and animal‑origin products. Shippers should review current rules on the Canada Customs website before shipping.
  • The shipper warrants that all information (contents, value, HS code, etc.) is accurate and complete and that the shipment complies with the laws and regulations of the origin, transit, and destination countries.
9. Data & privacy
  • Shipper authorises the use of shipment data (including consignee contact details) for transport, customs clearance, security screening, and delivery communication, in accordance with QuickShip’s Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law & dispute resolution
  • These Terms are governed by the law stated in the applicable service agreement or, if none, the law of the QuickShip contracting entity issuing the invoice.
  • Any dispute will be resolved in that jurisdiction’s courts, unless otherwise mandated by applicable consumer law.
11. Order of precedence & changes
  • A master services agreement (if any) prevails over these Terms in case of conflict.
  • QuickShip may update these Terms; the version in effect when the shipment is tendered will apply.
Part C — Easy Returns Policy

We offer a positive returns experience for your customers. When you process your shipment with QuickShip, you may generate a return shipping label with select carriers (e.g., Purolator, UPS, DHL, FedEx). You will only be charged for the label if it is used. Return eligibility, transit times, and handling are subject to each carrier’s rules and service availability.

Part D — Claims Policy
  • A damage claim should be submitted within 15 days of a shipment delivery.
  • A loss claim should be submitted within 15 days of a shipment lost confirmation by the Carrier/Quickship
  • A service‑failure claim should be submitted within 10 calendar days.
  • To submit a claim, contact QuickShip at info@quickshipnow.com with your AWB/HAWB number and supporting documents.
  • Shipper’s Risk items qualify for loss claims only when insurance is purchased.
Part E — Refunds & Cancellation
  • An order can be cancelled until a pickup request is not generated or the shipment is not inbound to the hub; refunds will be processed immediately to within one business day.
  • Certain services do not offer cancellation and refund once the order is booked, where the service partner does not provide cancellation/refund. Refer to the specific partner service details before placing an order.
  • If any order is returned due to inadequate packaging, incorrect information, or wrong weight declared by you/your customer, QuickShip is not responsible for the return and is not liable to refund the amount.
  • You may close/cancel your account at any time by emailing info@quickshipnow.com. Any account balance will be refunded within 15 business days after any pending invoices/dues/discrepancies are adjusted, if any.
